Hope all is well. Updating the local wildlife photographs with new recent looks. As foggy days have been the average last month with much needed rainfall occasionally, there were a few times I had to travel up above the fog to witness the sunshine. This is a fairly easy process in the bay area as foothills and taller peaks are never too far away and usually rise above the layer.                                     CALIFORNIA WILDLIFE DECEMBER 2024  Flying over the Eastern CC County hills near the edge of the Central Valley, a young golden eagle.         Cool, rainy weather welcome! After two strong above average rainfall years in a row. We only have to stay average for a while. Hopefully the storms mellow out to some degree, keeping flooding and landslides to a minimum.       Sharing some local views of the Pacific flyway including the Central Valley in San Joaquin and Sacramento Counties along with Contra Costa and Alameda.
